Program/Service Notes:
The sports medicine department at Horizon Health specializes in care for injuries that occur during sports, such as concussions, nerve injuries, strains, sprains, and broken bones. We will design a treatment plan based on your individual needs.
Our team will meet with you after a sports injury to evaluate, treat, and guide you through the recovery process. A treatment plan is agreed upon between you and the doctor. The sports medicine team works closely with your physical therapist when physical therapy is needed. While some conditions may require surgery, the goal is to avoid surgery whenever possible
